It's been a pretty bloody good day. I haven't done a lot and that's what makes it so great.

I started playing Grand Theft Auto IV today. I've owned it for a while without getting around to playing it. Turns out it's pretty great. The freedom compared to other games is huge. So far all I've done is drive around the city and make friends. In most games you are thrust straight into missions, but with this game you are free to roam as you like and only pick up missions when you feel like it.

The only thing making me sad about the game so far is that I can't find any really good cars to drive. In GTA 3 I found a shop you could break into and steal a gorgeous, fast car. So far I haven't found anything like that in GTA IV so i've been driving around in shitty old cars. What's the point in playing a game where you can steal cars if the only ones you can find are pieces of shit?

hehehehe that reminds me of Adam Sandler's song Piece of Shit Car. God I loved that song when I was a teenager.

I went to a BBQ and Antz and Gavin's yesterday. While I was there Antz showed me a youtube video of a parody of Beyonce's song Single Ladies. He couldn't find the whole thing at the time, but I did a bit of searching today and managed to find it. And it's got Paul Rudd in it, so that just makes it even cooler.

As i've said before, my job is mind-numbing and the strangest things keep us occupied and amused. Today it was reciting the Beached Whale youtube video. We found that we could remember most of it off by heart since both of us have watched it a million times. (Sad I know.) I've heard heaps of people say it's not really a good mockery of the New Zealand accent (it's made by an Aussie), but I disagree. I am AWFUL at accents. I mean really, really awful. Yet I can spot on do the Beached Whale bit (or so I think). Therefore the accent must be a pretty close one. Sure, I don't actually speak like that in everyday life. But I reckon there are some Kiwis out there who do.

I'm sure most of you have seen it. But just in case, or just because everyone should see it again... Here is Beached Whale.

For today I have hunted down some funny The Office videos for you guys.

First up we have my favourite character - Andy. See, I'm in love with Jim but I find Andy absolutely hilarious. My favourite moments are when he sings. This video combines all of his songs into one. Very cool. (I particularly love him singing Take a chance on me. Melts my heart every time.




Here is someones favourite The Office moments. It's labelled as the best Office moments, I think that's a bit of an exaggeration. They are good ones, but I wouldn't necessarily say they are the best. Especially considering it is missing two of my favourite moments (in videos below.) Anyway, these moments are all still very funny.




Everyone who loves The Office also loves the that's what she said joke. Here are a whole lotta that's what she said jokes all in one awesome video.




Okay, one of my favourite episodes is called Product Recall. The video of the best bits is below. I fully recommend the beginning and end of the video as it is Jim dressed up as Dwight and then Dwight dressed up as Jim. The middle is awesome too - but it's the beginning and end that are the funniest.




This next video has my favourite cold opens of all the cold opens at the beginning.



Apparently this take was the only time the exercise ball actually burst. Every other time it just deflated slowly, but on this take John Krasinski accidentally hit the seam and it popped. So the end is actually everyone out of character reacting to Rainn Wilson hitting the floor. I think that just makes it funnier.

And, just cos I can, here is John Krasinski with a very important public service announcement about jellybeans.



Makes me laugh EVERY time. And he is also completely correct. Black jellybeans are gross.

I have crushes on 2 actors from The Office. One is John Krasinski. I love him and plan to marry him someday. (And I have a foolproof plan, which I will detail at the end of this blog.) The other is Jenna Fischer. You know how on Rove he loves to ask his guests who they'd turn gay for? My answer is, without question, Jenna Fischer.

Then I am going to quickly get a few paces in front of him and have a friend stage a mugging. I will collapse in a heap, pretending to have fainted. John Krasinski will come to my aid. And the rest will be, as they say, history. Yep. Foolproof.

I watched the new episode today. And it was awesome. But I can't talk about it because I don't want to ruin it for anyone who hasn't watched it yet. So, instead, I'm going to post a video. This is one of my favourite John Krasinski videos. I did actually post this a long time ago, but it's worth posting again.
