Dinner
Ingrid and I went for dinner tonight at a Japanese BBQ place near our house. We've only been in there one other time and we were pretty much the only people there. We expected it to be the same tonight. When we first arrived there were only a couple of other people, but by the time we left the entire restaurant was almost full.
At first we were pleased for the restaurant that it was almost full. Then we realised that there was only 1 chef on. We finished our food just as the people next to us were being served there's. Not a single other person had eaten anything yet. There were about 8 other groups. And this is a restaurant where they cook it in front of you... So those poor people were all going to be waiting for their food for a long time.
Being the lovely people that we are, Ingrid and I both wished there was something we could do to help. But we couldn't. So we left instead.
