The World Of Jadeey: Day three against India

Day three against India

And yet another great day of cricket. The New Zealand bowlers showed today that they are capable of taking wickets, even on a flat track.

Sehwag commented during the ODIs that the NZ attack lacks the fire power to take 20 wickets. He also commented that the NZ attack had no idea how to bowl to him and were struggling. Pretty big talk from a guy who has now gotten out twice in this test match.

There's still 2 days left in this match. If we don't win it from here then the Black Caps would have let themselves down completely. To lose is unfathomable, to draw would be a complete disappointment. They have 180 overs, minimum, to take 9 wickets and then get any runs that India have managed to get in excess of our first innings total. It should be more than possible.

At this point I'm feeling incredibly proud of our team. I just hope they do themselves justice and go on to win from here. Jesse Ryder deserves his 200 to be scored in a winning match.
